A Different Approach to Mental Health
Unlike other programs and practitioners, we don’t think there’s anything wrong with you. We won’t try to “fix” whatever coping mechanisms have helped you survive thus far.
Instead, we’ll work with you on a one-on-one basis to identify your underlying emotional issues and what makes you think you need help. Then we’ll work together to formulate a strategy for recovery. You might take therapy or begin participation in emotional outreach programs; you may or may not be offered medication.
The true purpose of our wellness service is to help you build the tools to deal with psychological setbacks, not throw a band-aid over them or drug them away. Only through understanding can we truly change ourselves. That’s the OCA motto.
Our Mission
We are committed to helping alleviate the stigma around behavioral health services and seeking professional assistance to address them. We want our clients to know that they are not alone and that with their dedication to their treatment, managing their issues is possible; paving the way to better, healthier, and happier life.
Our Vision
We strive to be known as one of the most trusted providers of behavioral health services in New Jersey. This reputation will help us reach more individuals who may need our support and encourage them to avail of services that are essential in monitoring, managing, and treating their conditions.
